Men In Tight Trousers
patchwork News 04:12:10
told short
The Shanty choir, we have listed the Jonny-review again and sang at the Christmas market. Inspired by the great concert in September, now I sing in the singing circle, I could sing along to the Christmas party of the rural women. Since Oberndorf has come to the village renewal scheme, we also have regular meetings in the coming months, the so-called "village shop" where planned, discussed and debated is, am very curious. I made 2 new stone figures, a guest article to orchard (see below), written and re-film guide to local cinema .
animals
Winter season, from mid-November, all animals on the farm and, theoretically, the opportunity to see in barns and sheds, which they own but so far only sporadically. I am always surprised when I in the thick of snow and icy wind comfortably outdoors on pasture or are dozing see. Once again confirms the different heat and cold sensation, we really do the animals any favors if we lock in warm stables, just because us cold. For Malwine and Achim I am looking for a nice home, there have already reported some potential, but unfortunately the conditions were not ideal, are kept separately or together with sheep, or horses with no other bees, or the pricing ideas were too different. But I'm confident we can find for the pair have a beautiful home. Achim is chipped and the application forms for his papers as well as shipped ready. The cows will I have to register the herd book, family trees for all 3 are already here.
yard and garden
sink ... now sleep in the snow. The last potato rows are harvested, mulched, and now still covered with snow. The new fence dividing line between pasture and garden has the endurance test (Malvinas) previously passed well, to report any Aus-/Einbrüche ;-))) For safety, I disassembled the hoses to the pastures and joints and have removed and pure water taps taken, now they are snowed in and although I lifted completely and shake out the water are pressed out in several finishes long icicles, looks funny. The cost of a new heating system are too high, so one more winter in the familiar conditions.
orchard
I have presented the project at meetings with NaBu, federal and local committee. At the same time I wrote another letter to the owner, she offered to replace the log value of the trees and asked for more time, so I hope you can make an offer to purchase in the spring. Claudia Klinger has given me the possibility of a commentary to write in her garden blog. In the meantime I have asked my Abijahrgang and also the student council and school leadership in my former school for support. The current course can patchworkhof read in my own blog .
Now I wish you all a nice first Advent and Christmas season and I hope that very many even decide to support me in my orchard project.
... and a Happy New Year 2011
